Aggregate UX blogs of existing open source projects in subsection of site

Open jancborchardt opened this issue 10 years ago • 2 comments

As we talked about previously and say in point 1 on our About page, we should aggregate UX blogs of open source projects to spread the existing knowledge.

@danilapellicani did you want to work on that? @bnvk @simonv3 do you know if there is a way to handle RSS stuff with Jekyll?

I’m afraid it’d have to be front-end. Don’t think we can reference other RSS feeds.

I have a feeling this is done via projects, cross-posting articles via our articles creation process. However, I do think there's a need for an update to the https://opensourcedesign.net/resources/ section.

I think we can close this and create a new issue if we want to update blogs lists in resources or we could create a new issue about how we might 'scrape' terms like 'open source design blog' or something probably be good to consider a place to surface twitter hashtag of 'open source design'
