Are there any plans to support other database formats

As I understand currently only Berkley files are supported. In a productive environment I'd prefer a NoSQL solution e.g. MongoDB. The main reason is that I want to configure the Tomcat subdirectory as a WriteOnceReadMany image (e.g. in a Kubernetes cluster) and factor out production data in data services. Is the support of different persistence layers in the roadmap?
