Hi Evan -- Let's break this down into some smaller steps...

Participants

• 2–3 Gov team members (less Python/SQL experience)
• 2–3 Data team members

Focus Areas

• Onboarding: API key setup & first query
• Discoverability: Finding & exploring tables
• Query UX: Writing, editing, testing & debugging SQL
• Coverage: Desired/missing datasets
• Features: Wishlist & improvements

Process

1. Outreach

   • DM each participant: async feedback or 15 min call
   • Include a calendar link for easy booking

2. Collect feedback

   • Async via DM: be sure to get copies of queries and screenshots
   • Live calls: screenshare and observe workflows

3. Capture & triage

   • Record replication steps, screenshots, code snippets in notes
   • Distill common pain points and quick-fixes
   • Quick fixes → create GitHub issue with template
   • Larger requests → add to product tracker

4. Follow up

   • Notify reporters when issues ship
   • Track cohort’s Pyoso usage over time
