Reverting to OpenBeken after flashing ESPHome Kickstart
I have a device with a BK7231N. I easily flashed OpenBeken7231N_QIO_1.18.207.bin onto it, connected to the access point, and then flashed ESPHome Kickstart onto it. This worked well.
However, I wish to revert back to OpenBeken firmware.
I opened BK7231 easy UART flasher, connected to UART, and started the upload process. Flash memory was erased, OpenBeken flash operation completed successfully....but the OpenBeken access point never appears. I am doing something wrong, but don't know what. There appears some sort of residual configuration or remnants from the ESPHome Kickstart remaining.
Any suggestions what to do? In advanced options, there is overwrite bootloader with clear instructions not to use for N variants - but is it suggested in this situation?
Do you have original firmware?
Can you show uart debug output?
Maybe... try writing something from our flash dumps https://github.com/openshwprojects/FlashDumps/commits/main , full 2 MB (with bootloader), and then write obk?
