In release notes, certainly. I changed the existing wording to: You can forward logs to CloudWatch in addition to, or instead of, the default log store. (Removing Elasticsearch specifically.) Is there additional configuration required for vector that belongs on this page? @jcantrill ?

Vector cloudwatch forwarding using sts is not yet available. https://issues.redhat.com/browse/LOG-1978
