Reporting Integration with Notifications Plugin

Just wanted to mention here that it would be nice to have a compiled pdf attachment in the notification email/slack instead of just a link to the pdf that requires auth or worse is open for all.

Same, we are looking to ship a sample of data in a report as csv or pdf when an alert is triggered. Being able to attach a report to an alert would be ideal.

Currently, integration with the Notifications plugin is enabled in the integration/notifications branch on the dashboards-reports repo. This feature will be released in OpenSearch 2.0

I see OpenSearch 2.0 has been released, but this integration is not available. Do you have an ETA for this?

This issue need background authN/Z into reporting dashboards. This design is being worked on until we can release this integration, opensearch-reporting-cli can also be used for sending email with report attachment. Using the opensearch-reporting-cli works if you are an admin and know the platform, but for multitenant environments with lots of end users, this is not usable. Is there no way to allow end users the ability to schedule reports to an email address within OpenSearch Dashboards?

We are also waiting for this. Our team is migrating from Kibana to OpenSearch and lack of this feature is painful for the users. Once we were using Kibana, "watcher" feature allowed us to send automated reports with PDF attachments to specified recipients.

As I understand the only option for now is to use opensearch-reporting-cli ?
