Opensearch Dashboards doesn't currently have a UI for Ingest Pipelines.
Describe the solution you'd like
A UI for creating/editing/deleting ingest pipelines, like Kibana has.
That would be awesome, and I agree.
@opensearch-project/opensearch-ux any thoughts?
Perhaps we should make a list of all the things that opensearch is missing compared to kibana, and go through them once and for all? That list could be refenced and built up everytime someone comes up with a new suggestion. It would be nice to keep track of the missing features in general. Imagine a table such as:
Feature | Missing/Requested | Planned | Rejected | Exists in different form
Great idea, as there are likely a significant number of folks (like me) migrating from Elastic Stack to OpenSearch, with a list of features they expect/want because this is a fork of Elastic. The list ought to show up in the documentation, e.g. "OpenSearch vs. Elastic: Current Feature Comparison".
