Always bring to forefront when maximizing from system tray.

I have noticed for the longest time that when the program is minimized to the system tray (using Cinnamon), and I click on show to bring the window up, sometimes it does not bring it to the front of the screen, but rather the program remains behind any open windows.

this does not happen all the time, and I haven't found a definite pattern of when it happens and when, it doesn't. However, it seems like any windows opened after the program was already in the tray will remain in front after Trgui is brought out of the tray.

Is there any way to fix it so that the program will always show in the forefront immediately after clicking "show"?

Thanks!

You mean Show menu item in the tray icon?

Do you use hide window or close window mode for minimize action?

Yes, the show item in the tray icon. Usually I just close the window through the window manager.

I just close the window through the window manager.

And what do you have configured here in integrations tab?

I'm not sure this will help but I added a delay between showing window and bringing it into focus on branch delay_focus_on_show, can you try it? If it doesn't help then this is likely a quirk of your window manager.

Just tested, no change... :-(

Then that is likely the behavior of your window manager. Try poking around in settings. Also I found this extension that may be helpul https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/extensions/view/98
