What's changed?

Kotlin 2 compiler internals were substantially changed. Taking another pass at Kotlin language support based on Kotlin 2.

@jkschneider Hi, thank you for working on this! Is there any timeline on this patch? It will simplify maintaining and developing patches in Debian and Ubuntu once we finish Gradle 8 work =)
