Italy - Trentino/Alto Adige/Südtirol missing Whit monday
Hi,
The region Südtirol of Italien state Trentino/Alto Adige has an extra holiday, that I don't find in the list of local holidays.
https://github.com/openpotato/openholidaysapi.data/blob/develop/src/it/holidays/holidays.public.csv
Pentecoste/Pfingstmontag/Whit monday is missing in Italy for South tyrole in any future year - this year it's June 9th
See https://www.schulferien.org/italien/feiertage/suedtirol/ or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_holidays_in_Italy
Once added, how would I request it via the api? Would the countryIsoCode be IT-32?
Thanks for the cool project, very helpful!
Daniel
Hi, thanks for feedback. Whit Monday for South Tyrol I will add. About the extra holiday in Trentino: Any official reference available? Once added, you can request via subdivision code (IT-TR-BZ). Example:
curl -X 'GET' \
'https://openholidaysapi.org/PublicHolidays?countryIsoCode=IT&validFrom=2023-01-01&validTo=2023-12-31&languageIsoCode=IT&subdivisionCode=IT-TR-BZ' \
-H 'accept: application/json'
Hi tstueber, only Whit Monday for South Tyrole is missing. While it is part of Alto Adige, Whit Monday is not a holiday of the state Alto Adige. The state is not missing any holidays in your list.
Thanks! Dahie
Added. Please check.
@fstueber Thank you, works perfect! Can be closed.
