SSL for more secure sharing of private data

We are currently pushing data up to the Shareabouts API 'in the clear'. SSL would be nice, to make everything even more private. It would be hard but not impossible to maliciously sniff info as it goes up.

Suggest closing - we've been configuring the frontend with DATASET_ROOT set to an HTTPS URL for some time without issues. We're also using HTTPS for the frontend itself.
