Consider adding "profession" to person statement
A few questions to explore to help around where to head on this:
-
Do we have examples of values that occur in the Paraguayan data for this.
-
Are we aware of other countries/laws/regulations that require profession?
-
Would this need to be a single value? Or array of values?
-
Would this be free text or codelist? Would it need to be language tagged to allow for translations?
-
Does this have any role in identity matching? Is this an example of a more general set of 'key/value' identifying information that could/should be modelled in a more abstract/extensible way to support matching algorithms?
Options include at least:
(a) An additional property in the standard;
(b) A space for arbitrary key-value pairs of additional identifying information;
(c) Allowing a publisher to include this, but leaving it out of the standard as a localised extension;
(FWIW, Armenian EITI disclosures collect info on BO's place of work. I'm not sure that this info will be published, though.)
GLEIF have been working on a new ISO standard, ISO 5009, for 'official organisational role'.
Version 1.0 of Official Organizational Roles Code List (ISO 5009) published at https://www.gleif.org/en/about-lei/code-lists/iso-5009-official-organizational-roles-code-list and attached below official-organizational-roles-code-list-version-1.0 (1).pdf
Interesting to spot that the initial list contains codified beneficial owner roles from several US states, Cayman Islands and India - but not other jurisdictions...
