(Retire Trello?) As a volunteer, I would like to access current project information
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A new data developer volunteer found the Trello board and heard that it mostly contained outdated information. There was mention at the 2/8/22 hack night that this resource might need to be retired, and the still-needed parts added to GitHub project management. There was discussion also if using just one project management system for all needs, technical and non-technical is the way to go.
Describe the solution you'd like The solution for this issue would involve reviewing and pruning the cards in Trello based on their current relevance. Next, it would involve discussing with the team the best method for tracking project issues and progress. Transitioning the still-needed cards to the decided-upon resource or resources would be the final step
Describe alternatives you've considered Alternative solutions have not yet been discussed by the team, but could be.

Testing Outline Can a new user find and use all needed and current resources?
Thanks Michael! I had an alternative to put out there, which is to use Trello as the primary board and integrate it with GitHub. I've never tried this before but would be happy to do a little research to see if the extra step it creates for developers and project managers would be significant or pretty minimal.
Thanks Gabriel and Michael! I have installed the integration and will see how it works!

The labels in Trello are different, maybe we could have a discussion about this on hacknight. Trello has a blog about this "Power-Up" integration here
Power-ups are generally paid (I think).
For the tagging/labels, the GH repo is overdue for a simplification; I feel like we have way too many labels to be useful. I like the idea of streamlining and maintaining as much consistency as possible.
Power-ups are now free! They recently changed their policy.
