Polygon clipping due to the different extents in 2D and 3D maps
I have noticed that the latest versions of OpenLayers 3 clip polygons outside latitude [85,-85]. Any polygons outside those latitudes, are not visible in the map.
This creates a gap in the 3D view when there are polygons covering the North Pole or Antarctica.
I have created a question to see how can I manually change this clipping behaviour: http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/221007/rendering-polygons-outside-latitudes-85-85-in-openlayers-3
In the meantime, I am creating this ticket, to assess whether this change in clipping should or could be automatically done upon switchover between the 2D and 3D views. Feel free to close if you consider such functionality does not belong in ol3-cesium.
