"possibly an edge case/bug on beta nodes: if you successfully connect a beta node to an alpha node, but the connection is lost, the beta node "nodes" tab shows the alpha node as connected and beta node as disconnected, even though people would assume, that the beta node should be connected to the beta node, but not the alpha node in this case."

I think Connection Status is misleading. What do green and red circles mean? What does it mean, when isConnected property from http response is true|false? They certainly don't indicate that nodes are currently online/offline.

What is the alternative, which services are available to understand the connection? For the user, a connection is "green", if data is being synchronised between nodes.
