Add [breaklinks] option to the hyperref package
Hi @arfon - I submitted two commits for (1) allowing multi-line links [breaklinks] and (2) moving the footer a line below the page number to avoid any overlap between long footers and the page number.
Thanks @haythamfayek. I tried these changes but it didn't seem to fix the issue :-\
@arfon - My bad :)
(1) I converted the address to an explicit link in paper.md
and it now breaks correctly.
(2) The footer fix seems to work for me. Is it not putting the footer on a new line after the page number?
Would it work to force the DOI to always start on a new line? Do these approaches help: https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/111082/force-doi-on-a-newline-in-reference-list https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/29802/biblatex-and-new-line-for-doi-url-and-eprint
@arfon @Kevin-Mattheus-Moerman (1) The link breaks correctly when I compiled the paper locally using the same workflow in the repo. (2) The footer starts on a new line to avoid overlap with the page number.
Here is a screen shot from the compiled paper:
@arfon: May you try recompiling the paper with the above changes and my most recent change in paper.md
.
