Running behind a reverse proxy

I am getting the Authentication Error, not a valid openid url when running index.php in examples/consumer. I have tried multiple openid providers and get the same error. When I test the code out on my local machine it runs fine. Is there anything I need to change in configuration to have it run properly on a machine that is behind a reverse proxy?
