Can't assign groups to items

I'm running build #456 of OH2 and the 8.30 build of HABmin. WHen I add an item to a channel, I'm unable to assign a group to it. I can type in the Group box but the normal selection list isn't present and if I type a group name it won't save. I've verifed that the Groups are visible in the Items list. I'm running Chrome Version 53.0.2785.80 beta-m.

As an update, I was able to set the groups through the PaperUI. If I look at an item assignment through HABmin Things it shows that I have groups assigned to an item but just shows blank groups.

Also affected by this issue; as a workaround, currently I also add the items into a group using Paper UI, this works.
