Update to 2.4
I did a manual install from this source:

I have the qnap ts431 and none off those version work.
I would give a "clean try" (no other install going on, other versions removed, clean OPENHAB folders if not removed at all, etc) to the TXNASX86-64 version...
It did the trick for me.. ;-)

I am using a TS-431 and want to update openhab. When I run the openHAB.sh snapshot-download I get an error because the cloud-bees service has been deprecated.

Simply the same way I already told you: download the 64 bit version, from the previously indicated link (the .qpkg package), then go to APPS manager in your Qnap and select the manual installation, where it asks you which package you would like to install... select the previously downloaded file and proceed with installation... As I already suggested, I would do this after having completely removed any previously installed files and/or created folders (as this version seems being installed elsewhere compared to previous versions...). It's not that difficult: I cannot understand which difficulties you are facing, but please note that the above package requires QJDK8 installed to be able to work, as showed in the download page under "Dependencies"... ;-)
I did not say that it was difficult! It is just that I have a live installation and did not want to trash it...
Do I just need to retain and keep the files within the conf directory?
Well, please note this is actually not a "apply it over" upgrade... Core is quite different... Yes, keep your conf files (the whole folder), but please note that after upgrading the installation path will be different and conf files content might need being rebuilt. If it is a live installation, take the necessary precautions...
Hello, sorry to rehash an old issue but I likely have a noob issue. I have a TS-253be with the celeron J3455 processor and I tried installing the x86_64bit version from TonyFrend's link above with no luck. I previously had 2.2 running fine on this NAS working on port 8090 like I guess is pretty standard. I installed the JDK8 dependancy and erased all previous data first. After the upgrade openHAB is displayed on my administrators main menu and when I open it, it tries to open on port 58288 but I get a standard "This site can’t be reached" page. I tried with other versions also and interestingly a couple of others seemingly install ok and try to open with this same port. Am I wrong to think that this is the correct version for me? Any other suggestions for me to try? TIA
My advice? Don't bother with the qpkg.
Instead use Docker/Container Station. You will find it much better as the latest releases are there, which you are likely to want.
