Cannot control Switches with Sliders anymore

Open mueller-ma opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

I noticed that at about the same time I updated from the latest 4.0.X version to 4.1.0 that sliders cannot control switch items anymore. In one room I have a smart light bulb where I can set the brightness via a Dimmer item. There's also one dump lamb that is controlled by a smart outlet. I want to be able to control both lights with one widget (on/off and brightness). I created the following group where both items are part of:

group

When the group state was set to larger than 0 the outlet turned on and off when set to 0.

Expected Behavior

I expect that behavior to work in 4.1 as well, especially as it isn't mentioned as a breaking change: https://github.com/openhab/openhab-distro/releases/tag/4.1.0#breaking-changes-that-require-manual-interaction-after-the-upgrade

Current Behavior

The outlet ignores any control by the group.

Your Environment

  • Version used: (e.g., openHAB and add-on versions) 4.1.0
  • Operating System and version (desktop or mobile, Windows 11, Raspbian Bullseye, ...): Docker
