[enhancement] Item value manipulation via Developer Sidebar

If i test a rule , script or a diagram in a page, i have to write a separate rule or script to modify the item`s value to validate the result of the rule/page. it would be much easier if i can edit the value of a specific pinned item in the Developer Sidebar like the example screenshot.
