is there a plan to sync persistent data after network outage for a period of time?

No such plan. The principle of this binding is to listen to live events from the remote OH bus.

That being said, the connection is already monitored by the binding, and when the reconnection is established again (while the bridge is OFFLINE), all remote states are retrieved. So maybe, I am not understanding what you are requesting exactly (as network outage should be already managed).

@lolodomo what i I mean is let’s say the network outage is more than 24 hrs though the local oh instance is still running. Upon network is resumed, the data collected during this 24hr period is sent over to remote openHAB. These data during network outage is important otherwise the chart on remote openHAB instance would have emptied measurement during this period for that specific instance that experienced network outage

Ok, that's why you were talking about "persistent data". You would like the binding to retrieve all the history of changes while it is just retrieving the last value. This is definitely not planned by myself to implement that feature, I have no real idea how this could be implemented.
