Erratic behavior QField Sync
What is the bug or the crash? What were your expectations and what actually happened?
I am using QGIS 3.40.11 with QField Sync 4.17.3 and QField 3.7.7.
My layers are stored in a PostgreSQL database. A few days ago everything was working fine, but today when I synchronized, I received the images but the spatial points were not updated in the database.
Sometimes everything works properly, but other times I cannot work at all. I think this erratic behavior is related to QField Sync. I have tried changing versions of QGIS, QField, and QField Sync several times, but I still do not get a stable result. In some versions of QField Sync, when exporting the project, the geopackage is usually named data.gpkg, but after synchronization, the geographic elements are not updated in the database. This behavior also occurs when I use a geopackage directly.
Is it possible to have a tested combination (for example: QGIS version, QField version, and QField Sync version) that is confirmed to work reliably?
I used a normal sql insert and I could update my dataset, but I think there is some problem with qfield sync
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Create a project in ggis using layers from postgres - postgis
- Create a offline project to Qfield App using Qfield Sync and copy this in qfield app
- Take a new information in the field using qfield app
- Copy the new version and paste in the computer
- Syncronize the pc project using the offline new information
- The photos are syncronising but the alphanumeric information is not update in the database
