WFS Layer - cloud layer action cannot be set to "directly access datasource"
Having a WFS Layer in a Project (Control points AV; Geodienste). And wanted to Acces to it in the field also over WFS via a QFIEL Cloud project.
The problem ist that, in Layer settings it could not be changed to "directly access Datasource" and stays at "offline editing".
Also the Layer-Settings and in QFieldSync-Settings are not correctly synced. In QFieldSync-Settings i can do the changes above, but it still creates a geopackage with the wfs data.
QGIS version | 3.24.3-Tisler | QGIS code revision | cf22b74e01 Qfield Sync version:[4.1.1]

I cannot reproduce the above.
Can you provide a test project and a screencast what you are doing?

At the creation of the cloudproject it ends up downloading the wfs Dataset to the geopackage...

This is going to be fixed with the next QFieldSync version.
This is still a thing, isn't it? My WFS layer is still being converted to a geopackage database. WFS is set to direct access. Using QGIS 3.22.10 and QField Sync 4.2.0 How do I set up the WFS correctly? By the way, WFS is password protected.
Im still having this issue in QGIS 3.30.3 and Qfield sync 4.5.0
I can set the cloud layer action to "directly access data source" but it still creates a gpkg file for each WFS layer. These are all open access, no authentication WFS layers.

Can't believe this is still an issue today. Using QGIS 3.34.6 and QFIELD Sync 4.9.1. WFS is set to directly access data source, but still when uploading to QFIELD cloud the service is beeing converted into a geopackage.
