collect2: fatal error: cannot find ‘ld’
Ok so i am using Fedora 41 and when i compile my own cpp projects everything works fine, but when i compile an OpenFrameworks project either with make command or Run Build Task inside vscode i always get the error in the title.
collect2: fatal error: cannot find 'ld'
I really am starting to get frustrated cause i searched all the web tested everything made sure every package i have installed and is necessary is properly configured. What the heck is happening???
If you need more info pls ask for it i really need help. I am stuck on a college's project cause of this error and aparently its not my fault.
Edit: I am using the openframeworks on the official website and compiled it following the instructions on the same site.
Hello, what worked for the is to install the binutils gold linker. I'm not sure what distro you have but look for binutils-gold.
