Unable to add or delete category with Mode DEV enabled on products which data are directly provided by the manufacturer

Similar to #5304 but this time I have the Mode DEV enabled ( appears in red in the preferences ). For 3256227769153, 3256225721054 and 3380390204408 I tried adding the cat Pois chiches secs, when typed in the field the cat shows up, if I tap the + button the cat is added at the top ( once ) or at the bottom of the list of all cats present, I tap Save at the bottom and get the message "the product will be updated in the background as soon as possible" but the change doesn't stick.

I also tried with 3596710371518 3256227443497 3227290000337 and 3256227443497 to add the cat Haricots rouges secs, same behavior.

Deleting a cat doesn't seem to work either example with 3256227443497 I try to delete Plats préparés but it keeps showing back up.

Using 4.14.0+1280 from F-Droid on Android 6.0.1
