Switching back to an already edited stage during guide creation loses stage options

1. Create a guide with more than one stage.
2. Edit the first stage.
3. Edit the second stage. Add stage options.
4. Switch back to the first stage.
5. Switch back to the second stage.
6. Stage options for second stage are gone.

This has to do with some persistence things on guide creation that in general can probably be ironed out. Probably also related to local guide storage.
