wireguard with esper

I am currently working on an interesting project where i want to connect my VPS using a wireguard tunnel.

I successfully connected my esp with my VPS using esp_wireguard. I also added esper into code but it seems like all the dns traffic not routing through wireguard tunnel. Do you have any idea how to do it? How to move all DNS traffic through the wireguard tunnel?
