Internet of Things - Bill of Rights

Big fan of the openenergymonitor ecosystem (free software and open hardware), I'm a user and promoter of your software and hardware (in particular for non-tech people who can in that way support your awesome work).

I came across the Internet of Things Bill of Rights initiated by @adafruit https://github.com/adafruit/iot-bill-of-rights

The project doesn't seem to have moved recently but I was wondering if you thought it might be interesting to associate emoncms/openenergymonitor to such an initiative. I haven't read https://emoncms.org/site/privacy in detail but I think there are similar notions.
