in /join we currently recommend to go to slack. we could in addition also advertise the GitHub Discussions

Can we put something more there before shipping people off to an empty board? Like an FAQ or something?

https://github.com/orgs/openela/discussions actually has one. I agree we'd have to have positive news also. maybe we can start posting the announcements there also?

If we don't link it we'll never post anything there either ;)
