Twice the size between 3.19 and 3.26
I was wondering what caused the size doubling between these two releases ? I use Fdroid and 3.19 was the latest available there before.
On another note it would be good if you linked a changelog in Fdroid's metadata so we are informed of what's changed.
This is probably because of changes in pdf2htmlEX library. Previously pdf2htmlEX used to compile all the dependencies in tree and build them in, currently it depends on them as external packages.
They size may (hopefully) come down once we consume it as a Conan package ( https://github.com/opendocument-app/pdf2htmlEX-Android/issues/93 ). If not, I'll investigate how to reduce it somewhat.
this should be fixed now? @ViliusSutkus89 @TomTasche
According to Google Play, the latest version is 26.7 MB while v3.19 was 23.2 MB. v3.26 was 24.3 MB.
In other words, I can't reproduce this bug report.

That's not what appears on Fdroid: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/at.tomtasche.reader/. But maybe They are not talking about the same thing, as one may be weighing the download size, and the other the installed app size ?

Oh I see, I believe F-Droid counts the size for all architectures, while Google Play only counts one architecture.
Unfortunately, I can't see what F-Droid says the size of v3.19 was using your link now. Would be interesting if it's 23.2*4, which would prove my theory.
Ah, maybe !
I'd open an ticket on Fdroid's repository to raise that issue, but i'm not sure i have the technical knowledge and vocabulary to clearly explain what's going on, since it seems it's rather a problem on their side than on this side. Could you, or could someone else do that for us ?
