A Figma vector with multiple paths and fills only has 1 fill in the shapeLayer in the octopus
A single vector from Figma with 2 paths each having its own fill color (a different color) only has 1 fill in the shapeLayer in the octopus.
Hello, after merging of multiple subshapes the resulting shape always has one fill only. Can you maybe show some example design of what you mean (so we can doublecheck the data)?

Thanks for providing this, but it's not enough to judge about the situation because I can't see how Figma treats this in layer panel. I just can't reproduce it - everytime I create single shape layer with 3 subshapes (with boolean operation union) it disallows to set fill on each particular subshape, only one for the whole layer is possible. Also, SVG output just creates 3 shapes (not one), so yes, it's possible to set different fills then.
So, can you please create Figma design, make it public and send it here? Thanks.
