Firefox IoS team wants to measure particles with crowd sourcing

We are working on a pilot project to build a crowdsourced PM2.5 air pollution sensor network.

Did not yet get an answer, but found some pointers for the project. Information is still scattered, it seems there are ~10 sensors in their network.

  • Sensor is a "Plantower PM Sensor" PMS3003, measuring PM2.5, ca. US $24.00 on aliexpress, didnt find spec sheet at http://www.plantower.com/ , but http://aqicn.org/sensor/pms3003/ has some infos.
