Feature request: generate graph with all temperature/humidity data instead of a set of graphs per sensor

Open MagTun opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

I have changed my sensor from the DHT22 to the BME280. I expected to see the new measurements (temperature and humidity) from my BME280 on the same graph than the one generated with the data from my dht22, so I could see the history from the previous months, weeks, years. But this is not what happened. Now my data are separated between 2 sets of graphs: one from the DHT22 and one from the BME280.

This doesn't seem a good solution to generate different sets of summary graphs on madavi.de per sensor. I understand you want to keep the data separated in the CSV because it makes the process of analyzing the data easier. But the summary graphs on Madavi.de are not there for fine analysis but just global overview and (to me at least) it doesn't matter if the data were collected by a dht22 or a bmep280. Instead of changing everything, you could easily solve this by adding another link per ID on the graphs page something like "esp8266-ID-temp-hum-press-data" where all the temperature, humidity and pressure data from all the sensors of an ID are used to generate the graph. (If this solution takes too much process, you could do it only for the ID who have used several sensors.)
