Enumarate blob deletion strategies ?

This may be a bit nutty. But reading the bit about blob deletion strategies, it occurs to me that it might be useful to the client or user to know what strategy a particular repo is actually using :)

Would it be reasonable to (1) enumerate each of the deletion strategies, and then (2) provide an api endpoint which registries MUST implement which returns the deletion strategy which it implements?

I'm going to say as far as number 2, this should be punted to post 1.0. Maybe this is a wider discussion around discovery
