How to add custom apt repositories and install packages from them as part of the build process?

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right forum. I want to build a custom ONL where I want to add extra apt repositories and install packages from them. Is this possible? If so, how can i do the same? If there are any examples, it would help as well.
