Expected behavior and actual behavior. Steps to reproduce the problem. What version of opencats are you running? Release or downloaded from Git? WAMP or LAMP? What version of PHP and MySQL are you running attach appropriate error logs. Please attach [apache/mysql] error/access logs as needed.

Expected behavior and actual behavior. - Expected - mass mail to selected candidate /actual - only confirmation message pop up mail is not sent.

Steps to reproduce the problem. 1> Install Opencat on share hosting hostgator 2> Select all candidate 3> Select Mass Mail 4>Send Mass mail What version of opencats are you running? 0.9.4 Release or downloaded from Git? Downloaded from Release WAMP or LAMP? - Shared Server at hostgator What version of PHP and MySQL are you running - php 5.6 and MySQL : 5.6 attach appropriate error logs. Please attach [apache/mysql] error/access logs as needed. no error log

Hi @yvsingh1001 thanks - can you confirm how you've setup your mail?

are you using sendmail, external email gateway, php built-in? You did have to make a selection and could send a test email during setup. Did it work there?

Does any email work in the app or no emails anywhere?

this is the email section of config.php;

Only Mass mail is not working

Does any email work in the app or no emails anywhere? status mail is working and only mass mail are not working (http://gig.vin/d9b46d6a1d5d) Success message is shown on screen but no message is received. Do I have to change any setting on Hostgator

Hi,

I assume your test emails are to a personal domain you have linked somehow to your hosting account. PHP built-in is absolutely technically feasible - but in reality emails sent to external email accounts using php built-in will be flagged as spam and rejected by spam filters on the recipient domain email gateways (because you are not sending from an authoritative source for that domain). If you're sending emails to other domains therefore - unless have set-up your own environment and you know you have a static IP and your own mailserver, then don't use sendmail or php built-in, you have to use SMTP instead - particularly if you're on shared hosting.

I'll add a comment into the config file to this effect.

While using SMTP, the problem remains the same. It works fine for test mail ,status change mail But for mass mail message are not delivered .
