Map download fails
When I try to download the map of Switzerland the download fails. A notification shows up saying "switzerland.map" and a bar moves from the left to the right. But then it just goes away without any message. The "Select Map" button gives nothing to choose from. The app has internet access it downloads online maps. I am on Android 6.0.1.
It actually does download the file but then it doesn't appear to select. I tried to copy it in the designated folder but I don't use superuser so I can't access root folders.
I think there is a problem with hosting files on google drive. @wish7code how big are all files? I can help you with hosting them by providing disk space on a fast server.
Cool. I also had problem downloading maps. I tried few times.

I managed it now. You first have to create the folder under \org.openbmap\maps\ as described here: https://radiocells.org/default/wiki/getting-started. Then you download the map again and there they are under the menu to choose.
@agilob Sounds great :-) It would be an option to selectively host only selected countries (typical European country map is between 100-500 MB). Total size is ~15 GB worldwide..
Do you have a script which generates those files? Do you want to upload them yourself?
