Should we make it so that these notice type flash messages can be dismissed? Alternatively they could remove themselves after a certain amount of time though I've always disliked that...

Rather than just leaning on a beta phase with feedback using bugherd we would get more confidence that we haven't made any major boo-boos by doing some small usability testing...
