Where?

One example that's so common is when people are writing blog posts about us. The most recent example I saw is http://discomposer.com/voteit-plans/

I think this is because the OpenAustralia project and the OpenAustralia Foundation are so similar in name.

Not sure if its relevant, but all oaf.org.au seems to do is point to openaustraliafoundation.org.au which for someone who's lazy could be a bit too long to type ;)

Yes absolutely.

I opened this issue to see if there's something we can do about it. Can we make it clear that OA is a project of OAF on the OA site, for example.

I certainly don't have the answer ;)

I would suggest that this is the best solution. The issue as written would be someone else's fault anyway, but this would work in any case, even for search users like in #596.
