Gibraltar data no longer reporting

Open RocketD0g opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Gibraltar data is no longer reporting.

Trouble-shooting performed so far:

  • Data at the originating source (EEA) still appears to be producing data
  • Source file is set to 'active' and other 'active' and other EEA-related sources set to 'active' are reporting.

It appears there is a slight mismatch of source data. The gi.json uses country code GI, but the EEA stations list uses GB as country reference for Gibraltar. Changing the country code to match the EEA list and running the adapter seem to produce measurements (tried in dryrun mode).

@russbiggs Gibraltar is still not reporting from what I see, I think this will get rolled into a larger investigation as to why there are inconsistencies in data that is being ingested from the EEA. I still see Gibraltar is reporting data on their site https://discomap.eea.europa.eu/map/fme/latest/ . I tried above recommendations but was not able to get the adapter to work. I am going to have to analyze how the EEA adapters are working form the ground up. Another possibility is formatting issues with different csv files from their site that would cause the adapter to fail in certain instances. Obviously the adapters work for most of the EU so there needs to be some troubleshooting.
