Device images
None available yet
Do you own the device and would be willing to test the installer? In the future
Additional context
I would like it personally to support DivestOS.

Just fyi: OAI is just guiding the user through the flashing process, but not actually supporting a OS. Therefore you might need to request support for the FP5 over at DivestOS. See https://divestos.org/pages/faq#supportOfficial & https://divestos.org/pages/devices
Thanks, however sorry if you misunderstood me
There is a public rom and twrp available now

This should work. The only thing that is needed I guess, is a vbmeta.img for TWRP to work properly. At least thats what the website suggests: https://twrp.me/fairphone/fairphone5.html
Not sure yet how iode manages that, but might work with their ROM and TWRP.
/e/OS installation process seems unusual : https://doc.e.foundation/devices/FP5/install Also, an important point is the security patch date : it SHOULD always be newer, else the phone bricks.

Yeah, that doesn't look too great... lets se whats going on on xda with regards to that. the anti-downgrade protection looks like a horrible development for custom ROMs... :(

Maybe we should use Linux derived OS for mobile?
Maybe we should use Linux derived OS for mobile?
In principle, I agree. But this project is focused on alternative android ROMs, which are much more widespread and have a lower barrier for entry. Once Linux on mobile is in a usable state, we might consider it.
