Keep "[n] files changed" and to-dos in chat thread

What feature would you like to see?

Whenever I close VS Code, the "files changed" block disappears, which has really important information that I want to keep. To-dos disappear automatically, but I think they should stay put, since they surface what was interpreted from my request and what they goal of the model's work was.
