codex resume command in Codex CLI does nothing after latest update

Problem Running the codex resume command on the latest version of Codex CLI on macOS does nothing. After updating, the command simply opens and then returns to a blank screen, with no way to continue previous sessions.

Thanks for the bug report. Can you confirm which version of the CLI you're running (codex --version)? Is it 0.49.0?

I tried to repro the problem with 0.49.0, and codex resume is working for me. We'll need to dig deeper to determine what's happening on your system. Maybe one of your sessions files in ~/.codex/sessions is corrupted?

+1

I'm using codex-cli 0.50.0

Edit: In ~/codex/sessions I deleted old conversations, and it worked for me.

@wishfulcynic @fahmidme Do you happen to switch between ChatGPT and API Key logins? I ask because we're tracking another issue related to resuming a conversation across logins, and I'm wondering it this might explain what you're seeing.

I don't switch between api keys, only ChatGPT logins
