Send useful emails to visitors
It would be a nice feature to send emails directly from OSEM
- Conference invitations
- Reminder mail for visitors 2 days before the conference
- Welcome package at the start of the event (on scheduled arrival)
- Reminder mail for speakers 15 minutes before the scheduled event
- Thank you mail after the conference
This should include tracking of actions afterwards with something like ahoy_email
Yes that's a good idea. And we really need to send emails on-demand, such as reminders to confirm accepted proposals or to unregistered confirmed speakers, etc.
Heartily agree! I'd love to be able to send emails to confirmed speakers as a group to remind them to promote the event, to send out logistic information as we get close to the current event and then a year later to invite them to submit a talk to the current year's event.
Perhaps a "choose the list of people to email" page with a few options; confirmed, not confirmed, etc. and then a way to choose from your own list of email templates that would be editable in the browser?
