Easy to use, simple to setup test environment for development, testing for DFSPs and their developers. Could be used for UAT testing by the DFSPs. Requires a single computer to run all the components to enable:

• Functional testing
• Happy scenarios
• Modelling failure scenarios by artificially injecting delays, error cases
• Performance testing

• Specify happy-path and erroneous use-cases
• Create test input files
• Integrate simulator into the payment workflow, prepare Payment Hub to receive simulator calls
• Evaluate the result and fix upcoming errors
