master section graph question : drag <> gain knob

Open thijz opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

hi all,

in the master section : when you turn the gain knob you see the compressor graph move up/down, but when you drag the graph up/down the gain knob does not move with it and the gain does not change :

is this done intentionally ?

also, what does the 'X' mean when you right-click the compressor graph ? : image

Hi Thijz - very sorry, I missed this issue for some reason, and don't "browse" the issues of Sorcer often...

Nope - this seems to be a bug in the "graph value change" code - it doesn't send back its values to the DSP (but does get updated from the dial below). Either A) the graph should not be "clickable/dragable", or B) the gain dial (and DSP value) should be updated to reflect the new compressor gain value.

The X in the UI indicates that the master compressor is disabled. Most of the ArtyFX / OpenAV graphs are right-click to disable (except a few - like Masha - which are controlled by right click)...

I'll mark this as a bug, and fix it when I'm working on Sorcer next. Thanks for reporting, and sorry for the delay.. -Harry
