Data change notification on connect

A general question regarding the data change notification when using opc_ua client.

It works fine, except that every time right after the client is connected to the server the DataChange callback is called.

Is this the expected behavior ?

Is there a possibility to ignore it with a parameter (filter, or similar) ?
