ngx_http_opentelemetry_init hot reload issue

ngx_http_opentelemetry_init stops working whenever I perform a hot reload

nginx -s reload

is it expected

A similar problem, connections to the collector are not restored after reload the service. nginx v1.22 opentelemetry-cpp-contrib v1.0.3
