Generate a CRD from the schema

It would be great to also generate a CRD. Usually this is done from a go struct with annotations - I don't know if it is possible to generate the struct ( and annotations ) from the schema or a manual struct will have to be written.

The main problem I see is that there is a file version explicitly in the schema - while in the CRD this would go to the top level version.
